Malware that targets Windows and OSX

Security researchers have discovered a malicious word document that spreads malware on either OSX or Windows operating systems.

The malware attempts to trick users into enabling macros within Word, once opened a VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) script downloads a further script depending on the operating system, which then can install malware at will.

Keep macros disabled, and use the best antivirus tools.
